Chocolate Honey Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour , sifted
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking power
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and beat honey slowly together.
  2. Beat eggs in one at a time.
  3. In separate bowl mix flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda and baking
  4. Powder sift three times.
  5. Mix buttermilk and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  6. Add dry ingredients to butter and honey mixture alternating with
  7. Buttermilk mixture mix together.
  8. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9inch pans.
  9. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
