Chocolate Frosting For Heavy Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 10 tbsp oleo
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 10 tbsp oleo
  • 1 cup dark cocoa

Directions:

  1. Combine brown sugar, milk, and oleo in sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil
  3. Remove from heat and add cocoa
  4. Stir until well mixed
  5. Let stand for 5 min. to cool.
  6. Spread on heavy chocolate cake
  7. Or you can do this
  8. Combine white sugar, milk,oleo,dark cocoa in heavy sauce pan
  9. Cook on medium heat stirring constantly with a wire wisk until it comes to a boil.
  10. Remove from heat and stir in oil of peppermint and then pour over cake while still hot or poke holes in top of cake first and then pour over cake,
  11. Cake does not have to be cooled down first.
