Flourless Hazelnut Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to moderate.
  2. Grease a deep 19cm square cake pan, line base and sides with baking paper.
  3. Blend cocoa with the hot water in large bowl until smooth.
  4. Stir in chocolate, butter, sugar, hazelnut meal and egg yolks.
  5. Beat egg whites in small bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold into chocolate mixture in two batches.
  7. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
  8. Bake in oven about 1 hour or until firm.
  9. Stand cake 15 minutes.
  10. Turn onto wire rack, top side up, to cool.
  11. Dust with sifted, extra, cocoa to serve.
