Chocolate Chip Yogurt Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat sugar, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy.
  3. Add yogurt and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  5. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 8-12 minutes.
  9. Cool 1 minute on sheet and then remove to racks.
