Mommy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Cream margarine, shortening and sugars in a large bowl.
  3. Add vanilla and eggs; mix.
  4. Add dry ingredients; mix.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips of your choice, I like semi sweet.
  6. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
