Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup. unbleached flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup. (1 1/2 stick) butter softened
  • 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 1/2 cup. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup. peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cup. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup. chopped peanuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat to 375
  2. Blend dry ingredients, set aside
  3. Beat butter,sugars, and peanut butter until creamy
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla
  5. Gradually mix in flour mixture (don't over mix)
  6. Stir in chocolate and nuts
  7. Drop on ungreased sheet
  8. Bake for 8-10 min.
  9. Edges should be set, center should be soft
  10. Let cool on sheet for 5 min.
  11. Transfer to wire rack.
