Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a large bowl beat butter with sugars until smooth.
  3. Beat in egg, peanut butter and vanilla until will blended.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flours, wheat germ, ground flax seed, oats, baking soda and salt; beat or stir into butter mixture until smooth.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  6. Spread dough evenly in a buttered 8-inch square baking pan.
  7. Bake until pale golden brown, about 25-30 minutes. Let cool on rack for about 10 min, then cut into squares.
