Chocolate Cake Dressed In Berries

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine almonds and cocoa powder in a small bowl.
  2. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl until fluffy then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Fold in almond mixture then the fresh strawberries.
  4. Spoon mixture into a greased spring form pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  5. Cool completely then remove from pan and spread with preserves.
  6. Bring cream to a boil in a small saucepan.
  7. Remove from heat then add chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
  8. Cool 5 minutes then pour over top of cake allowing it to drizzle down sides.
