Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9x13 pan.
  2. Mix flours, cocoa, salt, baking soda and baking powder together in a large bowl.
  3. Beat in vanilla, oil, sugar, applesauce, strawberries and vinegar.
  4. Pour the water in, and beat smooth.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes. Cool completely in pan.
