Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place whole chicken breasts, 1-1/2 tablespoons salt, pepper to taste and 1 clove garlic in large stockpot filled with water (Approx 12cups h2o). Bring to boil and then reduce to low boil for 1 hour.
  2. While chicken is cooking, chop 5 carrots, peal and chop 3 potatoes, 1 onion and 1 stalk celery. Chop all into small pieces.
  3. After 1 hour, remove chicken from broth and add vegetables to broth. Also add brown rice. Cook 45 min at low boil.
  4. While rice and veggies are cooking chop chicken. When rice is done add chicken and egg noodles cook 10-15 min more.
  5. Serve with bread and butter.
  6. This recipe can also be done in the crock pot. Add all ingredients except egg noodles and cook on low 7 hours. Remove chicken and chop. While chopping chicken add egg noodles. Add chicken. Serve and enjoy.
