Ingredients:

  • cream together
  • 1/2 lb margarine
  • 1 1/2 sugar
  • add to above mixture 1 at a time
  • 4 eggs
  • then add
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla
  • add
  • 3 cups flour
  • dash salt
  • in 9 x 13 pan greassed.
  • pour 3/4 of batter into pan.
  • spread onto batter pie filling (you can use any kind of pie filling)
  • then you will need
  • 1 can cherry pie illing mixed with 1 tsp of vanilla or almond extract and set aside
  • then top with rest of batter.

Directions:

  1. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350
  2. If using apple pie filling I would sprinkle on some sugar cinnamon on the cake before baking, and after it comes out when it is cold.
