Ingredients:

  • cream together
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • add 1 at a time, 4 eggs mixing in well
  • add
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • add
  • 3 cups flour
  • dash of salt (never use it in my cakes)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling , or what fruit filling you need mix in 1 tsp vanilla or almond extract

Directions:

  1. Grease 9 x 13 pan and flour it.
  2. Pour 3/4 of batter into pan.
  3. Place on fruit
  4. Then top with rest of batter
  5. Bake 40-45 minutes, test
