Ingredients:

  • 50 -oz. bottle inexpensive red wine (gallo burgundy is a good, hearty choice)
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 small (1/2-inch long) piece fresh ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • (you may add 2 cups rum and vodka)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a stock pot. Bring to simmer for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
