Cheese Ball Mouse

Ingredients:

  • 2, 8 oz package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp instant cheddar cheese sauce mix from a box of macaroni and cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts ( i used some dried parsley instead )

Directions:

  1. Have cream cheese and butter at room temperature.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Gradually stir in the dry cheese sauce mix, green onion, lemon juice, shredded cheddar and parsley.
  4. Shape mixture into one large ball ( or two smaller ones )
  5. Roll in chopped nuts ( or parsley )
  6. Serve immediately
  7. Note: for best serving, if chilled and made ahead of time, remove from refrigerator 1 hour ahead of time to soften up
  8. Surround and serve with crackers
