Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Cream butter in a medium mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small mixing bowl; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Stir well after each addition.
  3. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets, and cool on wire racks.
