Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup flour

Directions:

  1. Combine butter, sugar and salt until smooth
  2. Reduce speed of mixer and add egg yolks and vanilla
  3. Beat until blended
  4. Add flourand beat until incorportated
  5. Divide dough into 4 equal portions
  6. Roll into 7 inch log about 1.5 inches in diameter
  7. Wrap in plastic wrapand refrigerate until firm (2 hours)
  8. Slice 1/4 inch thick and bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.
