  1. In a skillet, brown the beef; drain.
  2. Add picante sauce, soy sauce, oil, mustard, lemon pepper, garlic powder, nutmeg and cardamom; simmer, uncovered, for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Stir in cheese.
  5. Spoon onto bottom of rolls; sprinkle with onions.
  6. Replace tops.
