Ingredients:

  • take a fresh bunch of celery.clean the stalks,cut off the leaves and cut the stalks up into pieces about three inches long.
  • take about a two quart bowl and fill it 3/4 full of water
  • add 2 tsp of anise oil (or)anise liquid flavoring
  • place the celery pieces in the anise water,making sure all of the celery pieces are covered by the liquid.
  • the celery will absorb all the anise in this length of time and mix it with its own natural flavors and juices
  • remove the celery and serve while chilled
  • note: on first bite you will not know quite to think,because of the different taste,but after several bites,i beleive that you will like it.
