Caramel Turtle Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups crushed oreo cookies-(don'tsp use double stuff)
  • 1-14 oz bag of kraft caramels
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3-8 oz packages of cream cheese
  • 3 eggs

Directions:

  1. Mix Oreos and butter together until all are moistened. Pour and press
  2. Into bottom and 1/2 up sides of a 9 springform pan. Put milk & caramels in a bowl and microwave until melted-stirring every 30 seconds. Stir pecans into melted caramels. Pour half of caramel mix onto crust and smooth out with spatula. Set aside remaining caramel. Chill crust 15 minutes. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla on low speed of mixer until fluffy (5-7 min).
  3. Add eggs 1 at a time beating on after each. Pour cheesecake mix on
  4. Caramel layered crust.
  5. Bake 300* 65-70 minutes until center is almost
  6. Done. Run knife around edges to loosen. Refrigerate 4 hours. Top
  7. W/remaining caramel mix. Melt chocolate and drizzle over cake. Chill covered until ready to serve. Cut perfect slices using dental floss.
