Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a large bowl combine flour, brown sugar and egg.
  3. Cut in 1/2 cup butter.
  4. Stir in nuts.
  5. Reserve 2 cups of crumb mixture.
  6. Press remaining mixtuew firmly in bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan, I use Pam baking spray.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven.
  8. In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt caramels, condensed milk and 1/4 cup remaining butter.
  9. Cook until smooth.
  10. Pour over crust.
  11. Sprinkle evenlly with remaining crumbs.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
  13. Cool. Cut into bars.
  14. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
