Ingredients:

  • 1 (2 lb) can pear halves, drained
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp ginger
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400*F.
  2. Arrange pear halves cut side up in pie shell.
  3. Combine sugar, ginger, sour cream and egg; mix well.
  4. Pour over pears.
  5. **Streusel Topping**.
  6. In small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  8. Stir in nuts.
  9. Sprinkle with Streusel Topping over pie.
  10. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Cool.
  12. Store in refrigerator.
