Cabbage, Bacon and Pomegranate Salad

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Start cooking bacon to desired doneness. Drizzle with maple syrup and allow to heat through.
  2. Finely slice up cabbages and onion. Toss with field greens and raisins.
  3. Next, make your dressing. Mix oil, pomegranate conc, sugar, vinegar and lemon pepper and salt, and garlic. Taste to make personal adjustments before adding to salad.
  4. Remove bacon, drain on paper towel. When cool enough to handle, break into desired sized pieces.
  5. Mix the salad in the bowl with the dressing, and top with the maple syrup bacon.
  6. Regular flavored vinegar can be subsituted.
