Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the oats, buttermilk, and brown sugar; set aside. In a separate bowl,combine butter and eggs. Add to the oats and mix well. In a large bowl, combine flour,baking powder,salt,and baking soda. Stir all ingredients together until combined. Add butterscoth chips and stir to incorporate. Pour batter into well-greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, until golden.
