Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp karo syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Bring the butter, sugar, buttermilk and Karo syrup to a boil in large pan. Remove from heat and stir.
  2. Then add the baking soda and vanilla. Mixture will fizz to twice the size. Let set, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve while hot.
