Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups bisquick
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick of butter)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Pour Bisquick into a large bowl.
  3. While still firm cut 1/4 cup (or half a stick) of butter, and set aside the remainder of stick, this will be melted later to top the biscuits.
  4. Cut 1/4 cup of butter in small pieces and mix into Bisquick until coated.
  5. Add milk and mix until dough is formed.
  6. Dust surface with Bisquick and place dough on dusted surface and roll or pat dough to about a 1/2 inch thickness.
  7. Use a cutter, or if you do not have one (like me) use a circular drinking glass to cut out biscuits from dough.
  8. Place biscuits on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake for 9 minutes.
  10. After removing from oven immediately top biscuits with melted butter from the remainder of the stick.
  11. Enjoy.
