Ingredients:

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 large white onion
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 (15 oz) cans of roasted chopped tomatoes
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) can water
  • 15 -20 dried red chile japones japanese chili peppers

Directions:

  1. Roast the 15 to 20 chili peppers in a slightly oiled pan.
  2. Chop the onion and cilantro.
  3. Sautee the chopped onion in oil.
  4. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and puree.
