Ingredients:

  • a handful or two of brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 stick of butter
  • splash of balsamic vinegar
  • a squeeze of honey

Directions:

  1. Melt a small pat of the butter, (just enough to lightly coat the pan) over medium high heat and lay the sprouts, flat side down for about 4 minutes (check as little as possible, you want some browning)
  2. When browned slightly, flip them over and splash the vinegar onto the cut sides and toss.
  3. Let cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Remove sprouts from the pan, add the rest of the butter and a bit of honey, salt and pepper. As soon as the butter has stopped bubbling, it will brown very quickly but since your pan is full of vinegar and you cant see the butter, I just counted to 4and added the sprouts back to the pan.
  5. Toss and enjoy!
