  1. Combine butter and cocoa in a large mixing bowl, stirring well. Stir in sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla, and pecans. Spread batter evenly in two greased 9-inch square baking pans.
  2. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
