Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 t sp (or 2 ) lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, nutmeg cornstarch and salt in large saucepan.
  2. Stir in 1/2 cup of cold water gradually to make a smooth mixture.
  3. Add blueberries.
  4. Cook over low to moderate heat until sauce is thickened and clear, stiring constantly.
  5. Stir in lemo juice. Cool.
