Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat over to 450 degrees.
  2. Mix bacon, flour, baking powder, salt, onion.
  3. Cut in blue cheese and shortening until particles are like small peas.
  4. Stir in buttermilk to form a soft sticky dough.
  5. Place dough on floured board and knead several times to make a smooth ball.
  6. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Cut rounds with two inch cookie cutter.
  8. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake 12- 15 minutes.
