Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl; stir well. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle milk evenly over flour mixture; stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead 4 to 5 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
