Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. *Note: amount of filtered water and coffee needed for this recipe is estimated depending on the type of coffeemaker you use.
  2. Brew the coffee. If possible, please use filtered water to prepare the coffee.
  3. In the meantime, in a small chilled mixing bowl, (preferably metal) whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form-the tips will curl.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into cups.
  5. Spoon the whipped cream onto the coffee. You don't have to stir the whipped cream as it will melt into the coffee from the heat.
  6. Garnish with orange zest, if desired sprinkle with a little bit of cardamom and add one cinnamon stick per cup (the stirrer aka swizzle stick).
  7. Each serving equals about 3 ounces.
