Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut meat into 1 cubes and brown in oil in hot skillet, do a third at a time .. drain and add to crockpot
  2. In crockpit combine carrots, celery, onion, green pepper, garlic and parsley.
  3. Add broth, undrained tomatoes, barley and tomato sauce.
  4. Stir in seasonings.. taste.. add more water if needed. I like to add more water and beef cubes...
  5. Cook on low for 10-12 hours or on High for 4 1/2 - 5 hours..
  6. Skim of fats and serve in big bowls with fresh hot rolls..
  7. Enjoy..
