Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except nuts in a large mixer bowl. Mix at low
  2. Speed until well blended; Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 8-inch Square pan. Bake at 350 Degrees F For 40 To 45 Minutes.
  3. Do Not Overbake.
  4. Cut into squares after cooling.
