Barbecue Shrimp over Pasta

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package directions for 'al dente'.
  2. While pasta is cooking, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until the pieces are crisp.
  3. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  4. Reserve 1 tablespoon of the drippings in the skillet.
  5. Add chopped onion and saute until tender.
  6. Add shrimp; cook and stir until shrimp is cooked through and turns pink.
  7. Return bacon to the skillet.
  8. Add the barbecue sauce and cook and stir over medium heat until heated through.
  9. Drain linguine and place on serving platter.
  10. Top with shrimp mixture.
  11. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
