  • 4 small bananas
  • 1/4 tsp apple-brandy extract
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (or more to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp raw sugar
  • 1/2-3/4 cup water ( start with 1/2, add more if necessary)

Directions:

  1. Peel, quarter, core and slice apples. Chop bananas. Combine both in in a large saucepan; add remaining ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until apple is pulpy. Reduce heat to low or medium and whisk/stir until pretty well mashed; remove from heat and continue whisking/mashing until it is as smooth as you like it.
