Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Arrange slices of bread in a generously buttered 9x13 inch flat baking dish in 2 rows, overlapping the slices. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, half & half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Beat with a rotary beater until blended but not too bubbly. Pour mixture over the bread slices, making sure all are covered evenly with the milk -egg mixture. Spoon some of the mixture in between the slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Praline Topping:
  3. Sticks (1/2 Lb.) butter
  4. Cup brown sugar
  5. Cup chopped pecans (chopped)
  6. Tbsp. light corn syrup
  7. /2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  8. /2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  9. Mix all ingredients together and then spread evenly over the bread.
  10. Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden brown.
  11. Serve with maple syrup
