Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Peel and core apples; slice into a casserole dish that has a lid.
  2. Add water; cover and bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  3. Uncover and pour syrup over apples.
  4. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes more, basting with syrup and stir two or three times.
  5. Serve hot or cooled.
  6. This may be done in microwave also.
