Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 -2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Cut squash in half, scoop out seeds and any loose membrane, place cut side down in a baking dish to which you have added about 2 Tbs water.
  2. Cover loosely with wax paper and cook on high for 8 minutes in microwave oven.
  3. Open oven and turn squash over, add 1 to 2 tbs of butteror margarine in cavity, recover with wax paper and cook for 6 additional minutes.
  4. Allow to stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
