Ingredients:

  • 1 lb bacon of your choice
  • 1 cup of cheese of your choice
  • other ideas are warmly welcome. i've even put scrambled eggs in this

Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven to 400.
  2. Weave 1 pound of bacon, and place into a large cast iron skillet. (see photos)
  3. Cook bacon until it's done, 20-30 min. You want it cooked, but even if you LOVE crispy bacon, you don't want this crispy as heck, you want to be able to roll it without breaking.
  4. Once done, carefully take it out of the pan and transfer to a cooling rack. Sprinkle cheese onto bacon, and then roll it up, almost like sushi.
  5. Let it rest for about 2-3 minutes on the seam, so it stays sealed.
  6. Slice, and have a heart attack!
