Bacon-Fried Okra

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb fresh okra
  • 2 tbsp hot bacon drippings
  • salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Finely chop okra. Sauté in hot bacon drippings in a medium skillet over medium-high heat 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
