Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine baking powder and salt with flour; set aside.
  3. Mix baking soda with yogurt and set aside.
  4. Cream butter, shortening, splenda & brown sugar.
  5. Add egg, vanilla, almond to sugar mix.
  6. Beat until fluffy.
  7. Add flour mixture and sour cream mixture, alternating, in about 3 additions.
  8. Add trickles of skim milk or soymilk if mixture is too thick or dry.
  9. And/or a couple spoonfuls of flour if too wet.
  10. After all is incorporated, scrap sides of bowl with rubber spatula.
  11. Form ball.
  12. Place in fridge for a few hours.
  13. Roll out on floured surface, roll to about 1/4 inch.
  14. Cut shapes out.
  15. ** or drop dough by spoonful and flatten slightly with for or bottom of a glass**.
  16. Bake on cookie sheet for 7-9 minutes,.
  17. Let cool on sheet for 2-3 minutes.
  18. Remove with spatula and place on rack or paper towels to finish cooling.
  19. Decorate if needed, can also brush cookie with some milk and put colored sugar on before baking,.
