Applesauce Breakfast Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 1/4 teas ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
  2. Add milk to beaten egg and melted butter.
  3. Pour into dry ingredients, mixing only til smooth.
  4. Pour into muffin tins (2/3 full)
  5. Mix topping with a fork until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle on top of muffins.
  7. Put spoonsful of applesauce on top of each indenting.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
