Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour , sifted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/3-1/2 cup white sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Crust: Combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles tiny peas. Pat into 7x11 inch brownie pan or 9 inch square pan. Set aside.
  3. Streusel: Roughly work ingredients with fingers until combined and crumbly. Set aside.
  4. Filling: Sprinkle apples with combined sugar and cinnamon and stir until coated.
  5. Evenly spread apples into crust and sprinkle with streusel. Bake 45 to 50 mins or until brown and bubbly.
