Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Butter a large baking dish
  3. Spread nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet, and bake 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often, until lightly toasted
  4. Place sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook until evenly brown
  5. Drain and set aside
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter and cook the onion,celery, carrots and garlic until tender
  7. In a large bowl toss together the dry stuffing mix, roasted nuts, sausage and vegies
  8. Season with sage, salt and pepper
  9. Mix in 3 cups chicken stock
  10. Gradually add more chicken stock as needed to make the mixture evenly moist
  11. Transfer to prepared baking dish Bake for 25 minutes until crisp and golden brown
  12. You can also just stuff the turkey with this
