Ingredients:

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Warm honey and butter until melted
  2. Dissolve sugar in milk and add honey and butter. beat in eggs. sift flour soda, anise,cinnamon; add to preceding mixture. put in loaf pans and bake in slow oven at 350 for about 1 hour in joy
