Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup scalded milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 large marshmallows

Directions:

  1. Beat the egg until light, add the sugar and salt and then stir in the scalded milk.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens -
  3. Remove at once from the fire and pour into a serving dish.to cool.
  4. Make a small cavity in each marshmallow.
  5. Fill with any bright colored jelly and place on top of the pudding.
  6. Heat in a 325* oven until the marshmallows are puffy -
  7. Then chil before serving -
