Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Blend the condensed milk and vanilla.
  2. Add the powdered sugar to mixture a little bit at a time, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in the coconut. The mixture should be firm.
  4. Pat the mixture firmly into a greased 9x13x2-inch pan. Chill in the refrigerator until firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate with shortening in the microwave, stirring often in 1 minute intervals.
  6. Remove the coconut mixture from the refrigerator and cut it into 1x2-inch bars.
  7. Place bars on wire rack over parchment.
  8. Add 2 almonds on top of each bar.
  9. Drizzle melted chocolate over bars.
  10. When set turn over and dip other side. Return to wire rack.
