Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 oz) envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (13 oz) can fruit with syrup

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, dissolve gelatin in water. Place over high heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Add sugar and stir in extract; mix well. Pour into a deep, square pan and put in refrigerator to cool. When cooled, cut into cubes and serve with fruit on top. ( If you want more syrup with the fruit, make a syrup by mixing 1 cup water, 3 Tblsp. sugar and 1/4 teaspoons almond extract. Chill.
