Almond Butter Balls - Danish Mandelsmørboller

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and almond extracts and mix well. Stir in flour and fold in the chopped almonds. You may need an additional 1/2 cup of flour to get a good consistency.
  2. Shape in small balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
  3. Bake in a preheated 350º oven about 20 minutes, until slightly browned. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Or, for less mess, shake in a ziplock with powdered sugar while warm.
